The Braeval Hotel is an award-winning, family run Pub-Hotel and a central part of the Nairn community. The hotel's Bandstand Bar recently won CAMRA Highland Pub of the Year 2014 for the third time and Inverness District South Pub of the Year 2014 for the fifth time. It has been shortlisted for Highlands and Islands Food & Drink Awards "Best Eatery" 2014 and for Scottish Licensed Trade Independent Pub of the Year 2014. The hotel is Cask Marque accredited and in the Good Beer Guide. Each year the Bar hosts the Highlands largest independant beer festival. The Bar is lively and popular with a wide age group who come to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and real ales. It has over 100 single malt whiskies on its extensive whisky list.
The hotel has 8 en suite bedrooms, some with lovely sea-views. The rooms vary in size, as expected in a traditional Victorian Villa.
The large Sea View Restaurant has spectacular views of the Moray Firth where Bottlenose dolphins are regularly spotted swimming offshore. The menu includes Sea Food, Steaks and traditional Scottish produce. The Bandstand Restaurant is popular locally and guests should book their table in advance to avoid disappointment. Drinks and Bar Meals can be enjoyed in the Lounge Bar and Beer Garden.
The hotel is located between Nairn's two championship golf courses and a few minutes walk from Nairn's pretty harbour, town centre and Train and Bus Station. Castle Stuart Golf Club is 6 miles away.
The Braeval Hotel is an ideal base for visitors who want to explore the Scottish Highlands, meet local people and make new friends.
