Embo House was one of the castles of the Clan Gordon, but today the Grade A listed mansion it provides contemporary and luxurious exclusive use or self-catering accommodation for up to 16 people.
There are eight, beautifully furnished double bedrooms, seven with a spectacular view over the sea – and with a flexible mixture of super-king, king-size and twin beds. Each bedroom has a luxurious private bathroom. Downstairs, there is a fabulously light and well-equipped kitchen, a grand, red dining room which can seat 16, a wonderful cedar-lined library, filled with favourite volumes and games, a cosy sitting room with TV and a large, private whisky bar, complete with pool table and Sky TV. Most of the rooms have real fireplaces and logs are provided. The house has WiFi.
There is a laundry/drying room with lots of capacity for refreshing damp sports equipment. There is also plenty of space to store golf clubs.
Outside, in the 8 acres of private garden, there is a large BBQ & terrace area, a tree-house and a beautiful glass summer-house in which to catch the last rays of sun, accompanied by friends and your favourite tipple!
