There is a bus service which runs from outside the main entrance every 10 minutes and brings you into the city centre within 10 minutes. A large car park has space for 100+ cars and 6 electric charging points which are free to residents. Accessible parking is available outside accessible rooms.

The Redwood Restaurant and Lounge boasts outstanding views across the River Tay Estuary. A European and British menu is changed regularly to incorporate seasonal produce. The lounge bar is well stocked with some local flavours such as Dundee Gin, and local beers.

The hotel does not accommodate residents on Christmas Eve (24th December), Christmas Day (25th December), or Boxing Day (26th December). Resident stays resume on 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th December. The hotel closes again to residents on 31st December, 1st January, and 2nd January. Christmas Day Lunch and the Hogmanay Hoolie are strictly for pre-booked guests.
