Pyatshaw Burn Cottage is a cosy detached cottage nestled amongst trees and overlooking a pretty little burn, near Lauder (3.5).
This warm and inviting cottage is set up perfectly for two with an open plan living area with comfy seating, a wood-burning stove at its heart and a neat kitchen area with dining alongside. French doors lead out to a secluded balcony from which you can admire the burn. The cottage is all on one level with an attractive double bedroom (king-size) and a contemporary wet room.
Lauder (shops, PO, supermarket) has a golf course and bar/restaurants. Tours are available of Thirlestane Castle (4m), a 13th century turreted castle that has been carefully restored to its former glory. There is horse riding at Nenthorn (10.5m) and excellent mountain biking trails at Innerleithen (24.5m) and Glentress (30m).
