It is easy to spend hours watching the wildlife on offer right from the comfort of this property including seals, otters, oyster catchers, mallards, eider ducks and even porpoises jumping in the distance!
Just a short 2.5-mile drive from Rothesay, the bungalow is accessed through a gated driveway leading down to the rear of the house with plenty of parking. The entire bungalow is set on its own private ground and is completely enclosed allowing dogs to safely explore the garden space. Along the rear of the house is a long, raised terrace which can also be accessed through the sitting room sliding doors. This area is also covered, allowing guests to sit outside to take in the views and fresh sea air in all types of weather.
Guests enter the property directly through the kitchen door and are met with a large and casual kitchen with breakfast area. The utility room, just off of the kitchen, houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The doorway straight ahead leads to an inviting dining room with nook where you can enjoy family meals and evenings of playing games whilst enjoying the uninterrupted views across Ascog Bay and the river Clyde.
Through the french doors of the dining room, you enter the living room. To call the living room spacious would be an understatement, the large and comfortable seating still leaves plenty of space to play indoor games. In the evenings and winter days, you can relax in front of the feature gas fire and marvel at the breath-taking and tranquil views through the two sets of sliding glass doors.
There are two sets of doors from the sitting room, both leading to the long hallway. All rooms are accessed from the hallway and there is also a coat cupboard to store your boots and coats after returning from your daily adventures.
The first bedroom is a well-proportioned twin bedroom with two full size single beds, both of which are made up with double duvets which caters for adult use as well as for children. There is also a small TV with DVD player and a wide selection of DVDs for guests to enjoy.
At the end of the hallway is the master bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom. The bedroom is front facing, so guests can wake up in the mornings and enjoy the spectacular sunrises from the comfort of their bed. The en-suite bathroom has a shower over a bath, wash-hand basin and w.c.
The family bathroom is modern and bright with a floor level walk-in shower, double wash-hand basin and toilet.
The entire property is all one level with just one step up to access the property, making it ideal for guests who have reduced mobility.
