Shore Cottage is at the water's edge of Loch Melfort. A very secluded and private location 3 miles from the village of Kilmelford and 18 miles south of Oban. The cottage sleeps 6 and has a double bedroom, a smaller twin bedroom and a bathroom on the first floor. There is also a twin room with shower/wc on the ground floor. The lounge and dining room have patio windows which are perfect for watching the family of otters who live nearby! The kitchen is compact with an adjoining laundry. All of our furnishings are to a high standard with fitted carpets throughout. As well as electric heating there is an open fire. We welcome well-behaved pets but permission should be sought before bringing animals. There is ample parking. The Ardenstur estate covers 150 acres and encompasses an idyllic headland and bay. There are also some stunning hill walks, forest landscapes and plenty of fresh water lochs for fishing; however some lochs need a permit from Kilmelford Post Office.
