Sweet Donside Cabins includes The Wee Love Nest & The Wee Behive, these are the first of 7 Cabins we are building with the 3rd to be started early 2020. These cabins are truly special, a lot of love has went in to building and decorating them, each cabin has a bathroom with walk in shower, central heating, WiFi, king size bed along with a kettle, microwave, coffee machine and a TV with a dongle that has plenty of programs on it, in addition there are lots of books & board games and if you like playing music a blue tooth speaker.
The Wee Beehive is pet friendly.
Parking is just a short walk from the cabins.
While the cabins provide some cooking facilites there is also a fully equipped kitchen area only a few yards away for our guests to use, you can cook then eat your meals inside the kitchen or the outside on the decking area, while the decking is partialy covered this area is best utalised on the warmer days.
We are set in the Cairngorms National Park next to the village of Bellabeg, the famous Lonach Highland gathering and games are held here it attracts over 7000 people, the cabins are a stone throw away from the river Don, across the road is the famous three hundred year old Poldullie bridge built in 1715 by the Jacobites, it recently featured in the film 'Mary Queen of Scots', during filming we had the privlidge of hosting 172 extras and the props crew. Just 8 miles up the road is the Lecht Ski resort, if you are not into skiing it is a great place to stop and take in the stunning views. Our location is very central with many and varied visitors attractions not more than an hour away, for those who like to drive we are not far from the route 250 (250 miles), many whisky trails, and the northern & eastern coasts of Aberdeenshire.
The Wee Love Nest & The Wee Beehive are ideal for a romantic getaway, switching off from the day to day stresses, or getting out and about for sightseeing, walking , skiing, exploring and birdwatching or to just chill out and relax.
If you are celebrating a special occasion please let us know, we can attempt to accommodate all requests. A 'For Cakes Sake' afternoon tea is avialble by prior arrangement please equire when you book, we can also arrange picnic pony walks, please ask for more details if you fancy a picnic with a difference ❤️
