Set in a peaceful situation yet only a few minutes walk from Grantown-on-Spey Main Street, our lovely landscaped gardens are paradise for guests and for wildlife including Red Squirrels, hedgehogs and hundreds of birds, many of which are very friendly: we even have regular visits from an otter!. We have easy access to beautiful country walks.
Designed by Alexander Marshall Mackenzie - the architect of buildings such as Crathie Church and The Waldorf in London - The Dulaig was built in 1910 and is now styled in a luxurious, tasteful blend of modern furnishings and Arts and Crafts antiques.
We have three beautifully appointed bedrooms of which two can be let at any one time. All have fine linens, luxury en suites (one with slipper bath and one with whirlpool bath) and a range of extras such as Satellite TV, DVD, silent fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, fluffy towels, hairdryer and luxury toiletries. Two of our rooms can be made up with either superking or twin beds.
We are delighted that The Dulaig is in the Good Hotel Guide and a member of Scotland's Best B&Bs.
We know Scotland well and love to help all of of our guests get the very best from their stay. As experienced hill-walkers we are happy to provide maps and ideas for walks and have facilities for drying clothing and equipment. Delicious packed lunches are available too on request.
