Weavers Cottage…as the name suggests, is owned by a Harris Tweed weaver. Situated at the most northerly end of the Isle of Lewis, the cottage is a tranquil place to relax and unwind from life's hectic pace!
Looking out from the cottage, are spectacular views over the crofts to the Atlantic Ocean, where you can see Gannets diving in to the water, Grey Seals, Bottle Nose Dolphins and Basking Sharks amongst many other species of marine life. On calm sunny days, the water in the harbour is Azure Blue and Green against the white sand and on those windier days you can sit snug and warm inside while you watch the waves crash over the harbour walls.
There are plenty of visitor attractions and fabulous places to eat, Cafe Sonos at Port of Ness and The Decca at Europe, there is a fantastic shop at Cross a couple of miles up the road a wonderful Play park set in the dunes again at Eoropie, marvel at Stephenson's light house at the Butt of Lewis!
You will have everything you need here for a cosy holiday, a well equipped kitchen, very spacious, light, airy sitting room with a multiple stove and plenty of peat!
A Smart TV, plenty of books and games for all ages and an Alexa Echo Dot for those chilling out evenings by the fire, after a long days exploring!
The cottage sleeps 5. 2 x double bedrooms and a single room, with a plus one on the large comfy sofa in the sitting room! Beautiful crisp bedlinen and fluffy towels to make you feel well looked after! There is a family bathroom, cloakroom and utility, plus parking for two cars. One well behaved canine family member will be very welcome!
