Launched in September 2020 in the town of Millport, Isle of Cumbrae Distillers is distinctly positioned as one of the few all-female distilling teams in Scotland. Located on the West Coast of Scotland, less than one hour by train from Glasgow and two from Edinburgh, the Isle of Cumbrae is distinguished as Scotland’s most accessible island, with a relaxing 8-minute ferry ride from the mainland town of Largs. Our distillery offers weekly tours and tastings year-round.

Take a group of five strangers who met on a Scottish Island, a shared love of gin and a passion for the island they call home and what do you get? Isle of Cumbrae Distillers. Launched in September 2020, Isle of Cumbrae Distillers is distinctly positioned as one of the only all-female distilling teams in Scotland and the only international team, drawing representation from the UK, Canada and the US. We produce 3 delicious craft gins which have won several prestigious international awards. In October 2021 we also won the Association of Scottish Businesswomen Most Innovative Start-up and the Ayrshire Businesswomen’s Enterprise of the Year.
