Nature, Scenery & Landscape

This episode comes to you from the beautiful mountains, valleys and glens of the Cairngorms National Park. Neil is joined by Vicky Coy, a geologist who explains the formation of this amazing landscape. We also meet photographer, David Russell from Highland Wildscapes, who teaches us why this area is such a joy for wildlife photography. From the scenic Snow Roads driving route to wild swimming in Loch Morlich, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this part of Scotland.

Join us for an exploration of Scotland's amazing cultural scene from the streets of Aberdeen. As well as dabbling into the worlds of crime fiction with writer Stuart MacBride and street art from the city's NuArt Festival, we go behind-the-scenes to find out more about the opening of the new Aberdeen Art Gallery. Also, if you've never heard 'neo trad' music, now is your chance!

Adventure and Wellness

Next, we delve into the glorious region of Dumfries & Galloway. Neil chats to Duncan, the owner of adventure playground Laggan Outdoor, Elizabeth Tindall, a dark skies expert who shares stargazing secrets from the Galloway Forest Park and we explore the romantic treehouse accommodation available at Brockloch Farm. And, have you ever experienced the joy of foraging for your dinner? Mark Williams from Galloway Wild Foods shares his knowledge of the natural ingredients you can discover in the region.

Food & Drink

We head to Glasgow to find out more about the foodie haven that is the area of Finnieston.
