Lamlash Bay & Holy Isle

The Coig - The Arran

If you're looking for a true sanctuary and an area that is a centre for world peace and health, then Holy Isle is the place to be. With a rich spiritual history dating back to the 6th century, today the island is owned by Buddhist Monks who hold regular retreats on the island. Accessed by a short ferry ride from Lamlash, come and explore and discover fascinating wildlife. Lamlash itself is Arran's largest settlement and is nestled in a sheltered bay.
