Mull of Galloway Lighthouse

South West Coastal 300

When you make it to the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse, you will have reached Scotland’s most southerly point! Take a guided tour (between Easter and October) and get a sense of what it was like to be a lighthouse keeper at the exhibition. You won’t fail to be impressed by the surrounding views as you hear the calls of kittiwakes and see guillemots diving gracefully into the sea – the Mull of Galloway is also a RSPB nature reserve. In spring and early summer, lovely wildflowers are scattered over the grassy coastline. Enjoy a refreshment at the dramatically situated Gallie Craig Coffee House, which overlooks a cliff edge with views out to sea.
