In Angus, you can breathe in the sea air on a revitalising coastal walk along the red sandstone Seaton Cliffs, north of Arbroath, and admire impressive rock formations such as the Devil's Head and the Needle's Eye. Or take a gentle stroll across Lunan Bay, just one of the area's stunning award-winning beaches.

The unspoilt Angus Glens consist of Glen Prosen, Glen Clova, Glen Lethnot, Glen Isla and Glen Esk and is a haven for walkers. Enjoy walks over heather-clad moorland and through lush forests teeming for wildlife.

Explore some of the area's country parks, such as Crombie, with its scenic loch and woodlands. There are over 7 km of woodland trails and an adventure playground hidden in the woods.

Look out for wildlife across the landscapes as well from nature reserves such as the Loch of Lintrathen to the Montrose Basin, a large tidal lagoon and nature reserve which plays host to large numbers of wildfowl, waders and 60,000 migrating geese every year.

In Dundee, you can climb to the top of the Dundee Law, a small hill with beautiful views out across the city and the River Tay. Visit gardens such as the University of Dundee's Botanic Garden which houses a wide array of native and exotic plants, trees and shrubs. The city is also home to around 60 parks so there are plenty of places to enjoy the great outdoors with the whole family.
