Get your skis on!

LOOKING OVER TO A SKIER DROPPING OFF THE TRAVERSE SKI RUN INTO COIRE CAS AT THE CAIRNGORM MOUNTAIN SKI AREA, WITH A VIEW TOWARDS MOUNTAINS BEYOND, HIGHLAND. I shouldn’t have been surprised yesterday when I heard that people were skiing on real snow in Scotland on May 15, because it snowed last May too… but it still made me want to set off to the hills with my skis just so that I could SKI in SCOTLAND in MAY!

Alas, I shall have to accept that the closest I’m going to be to skiing this May was last night in my dreams, that is, unless the slopes remain open at the Cairngorms during the weekend, or I visit one of the many places where you can enjoy snowsports all year round.
