Many of us don’t think it gets more romantic than a pottery scene in Ghost, kissing in the rain in The Notebook or an unlikely romance in Beverly Hills – but could we be wrong?
Almost 2 years ago, Alex Pelling and Lisa Grant, a couple in love, were searching for the best place to get married. How would they decide? By packing all their possessions into their 25 year old campervan and having a wedding ceremony in each country they visited!
This amazing journey has seen them getting married by Martha Stewart in New York, a sunset wedding in El Salvador and last week the spectacular west coast of Scotland welcomed this unique couple for their very own ‘Wee Wedding’.
It is the law in Scotland that couples can get married practically anywhere from a white sandy beach to a grand Scottish castle – as both Alex and Lisa are keen outdoors enthusiasts, the couple chose the former.
Piped down to the beach by the entire Mid-Argyll Pipe Band, they married overlooking the Isles of Islay, Jura, Gigha and the coast of Ireland, courtesy of Crear who offer a beautiful, private hideaway by Tarbert, Argyll.
