21 travel bloggers from around the world are just now making their way to Scotland for the New Year, to celebrate Hogmanay in Edinburgh AKA #Blogmanay. The event is organised by our friends Edinburgh’s Hogmanay.
Who are the Blogmanay bloggers?
A great bunch of people, naturally
! Some are Scotland fans already but haven’t been to Hogmanay yet, while others are new to Scotland. Some of them will be guest posting on this blog and share their experiences, and all of them will have the best Hogmanay party ever! Special shout out to JD Andrews (earthXplorer) from North America and Mei and Jo from Malaysia (AgentCikay) who’ve been here before exploring Scotland’s creative culture, and Scot bloggers Jane Meighan (runawayJane) and Emma Gray (scottishemma123) who no doubt will be contributing their very own Scottish take on Hogmanay!
How can I take part?
#Blogmanay is for everyone who loves the New Year celebrations in Scotland and wants to shout about it! On Twitter, you can follow the hashtag to see what all the chat is about (join in and share your tips and experiences!). On Instagram, just use the tag on your Edinburgh’s Hogmanay photos – and view them on the Instagram #Blogmanay page!
Anything else?
Keep an eye out over the next few days – and tune in to Edinburgh’s Hogmanay’s official Tumblr page for the latest updates.
