Explore Perthshire on a Highland Safari

Enjoy wildlife attractions in Perthshire, a region which has a number of exciting species to offer. Go on a tour of the hills and mountains or get up close to birds of prey.

Venture into the rugged hills and mountains of Perthshire by Land Rover with Highland Safaris to discover amazing wildlife habitats and outstanding views.

Select from a family forest safari to explore the wilderness in the company of a kilted ranger and discover spectacular views, or hop in a Land Rover for a guided safari which includes an easy paced walk and complimentary picnic.

Have your cameras and binoculars at the ready because this lush countryside is home to - among others - the striking red deer, the elusive mountain hare and the famous grouse. It is worth gazing up at that big expanse of sky too as there is every chance of spotting a soaring golden eagle.

The British School of Falconry is based at Gleneagles, and was the first dedicated school of its kind in the world when it was set up in 1982. Experience these amazing birds of prey first-hand with professional falconers who can provide instructions and basic techniques, in skill development.

The falconry school offers a number of different options, from short lesions to breaks over two days and certification courses.
