Michelin-star

Restaurant Martin Wishart received Edinburgh’s first Michelin-star in 2000. Renowned for its signature seafood dishes it is situated in Leith, close to another Michelin-star recipient, The Kitchin. Across the city you can also enjoy sumptuous feasts at 21212, Number One at the Balmoral Hotel, and The Kitchin’s sister restaurant, Castle Terrace, which received Edinburgh’s latest Michelin-star in 2011.

Away from the city

You’ll also find great dining opportunities across the Lothians. In East Lothian, enjoy a round of golf before sampling great meat or seafood dishes from John Paul at the Marine Hotel in North Berwick.
