No matter what the weather conditions are like or time of year, paintball and laser tag are fantastic activities which are amenable to all. This game of strategy, tactics and teamwork makes for a great day out and all you need to bring is the gritty determination to beat your opponents. You’ll find that it’s even more enjoyable when playing with a group of friends or family and in Scotland there are loads of great sites where you can put your stealth and shooting skills to the test.

If you are visiting Scotland’s cities you can take advantage of accessible paintball sites. Both A1 Paintball in West Lothian and Bedlam Paintball’s two centres in central Scotland have impressive woodland game zones and are within easy reach of Scotland’s largest cities. At Combat City at ScotKart in Glasgow you can play a paintball and laser hybrid in a realistic setting of urban warfare and in Dundee you can also be thrilled by a laser armed-battle experience at Battlefield Live.

If unsure whether you’d prefer the outdoor paintballing experience where pellets of paint are fired at you high speeds or contactless laser tag with infrared phasers, there are sites across Scotland where both activities are on offer. At Argyll Adventure, there are over ten different outdoor scenarios for paintball games or you can try Laser Storm in the giant inflatable Lasership.

This energetic, combat-themed activity is bound to get your adrenalin pumping, regardless of what site you play in or the type of experience you decide upon. You could choose explore Scots Pine forest at the likes of Craggan Outdoor near Aviemore, using great trees for hiding places and splattering your rivals with paint. Or, for something out of this world, avoid being zapped by other players and try to navigate your way to look-out posts at the futuristic multi-floor arena of the Laser Matrix in Greenock.
