Scale the 164ft Titan Crane on the River Clyde, take in some of the best views over the region then jump off on an adrenaline-fuelled bungee jump. Those brave enough to take the plunge can reach speeds of up to 50mph on this spectacular freefall.
Those who prefer to enjoy their activities firmly on the ground can still get their thrills in the fast lane on two fantastic go-kart tracks. Scotkart has two speedy circuits to navigate at either side of the city of Glasgow in Cambuslang and Clydebank.
The Scotkart Cambuslang venue is also home to Scotland’s first purpose-built urban combat simulation arena. Combat City features high tech, realistic weapons using infra–red beams set out as an urban warzone littered with tyres, oil drums, and burnt out buildings - the perfect arena for a fast-paced team sport.
You can even enjoy snowsports near the centre of Glasgow anytime of the year. The Snow Factor centre in Braehead produces real snow several times a week to give the feeling of a real piste, without having to visit the Highlands. The slopes are similar to a blue (easy) route allowing everybody, from beginners to the more confident to enjoy the experience.
Soar at intu Braehead, which houses SnowFactor, is also home to a popular indoor climbing wall and aerial assault course. This state of the art aerial adventure is suspended 15m above the ground and includes a zip slide, swinging platforms, cargo net and rope ladders. You can even tackle one of the largest freestanding climbing walls in the UK. Those who seek a vertical challenge can attempt up to 24 routes of all standards providing a true adventure playground for all ages.
