There’s always a wide range of arts and culture events taking place in Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, Stirling & Forth Valley.

From photography exhibitions to live music concerts, there are many events held throughout the year in galleries, museums, theatres and other venues.

The artists studios across the Trossachs, Campsies, Falkirk and Ochil Hills throw open their doors in June during the Forth Valley Open Studios event. Witness the creation of numerous artworks and even meet the artists themselves.

For a laugh, don't miss Funny in Falkirk in July where you can see some of the country's biggest names in comedy as well as new home-grown Scottish talent.

The Highland games during July and August take place in towns and villages such as Bridge of Allan, Airth, Stirling, Callander and Killin. These fun family events are not to be missed, with highlights including athletics, Highland dancing, heavy weight competitions and the four hill races.

You can feed your literary appetite in September at Off the Page, Stirling's book festival, which features big names in the literary world and exciting workshops for children. Later on in the month, the city will also be hosting Scotland's international crime writing festival, Bloody Scotland.
