Start your second day at the Scottish Deer Centre, a unique attraction set in 55 acres of Fife countryside. Situated along the A91, it boasts 14 species of deer, foxes, otters and the region’s only pack of wolves. Learn more about these fascinating creatures on daily tours led by knowledgeable guides around the park and get up close to the park’s rare deer species on trailer rides through the enclosures.
At the Raptor World Bird of Prey Centre there are demonstrations revealing how humans once hunted with these magnificent birds during the medieval area. Children will love the Treetop Walk through Witches Wood, where they can catch a glimpse of resident red squirrels and other species, and the Adventure Playground which comes complete with a sand pit, zip slide and static slide.
Spend the afternoon enjoying the many activities on offer at Cairnie Fruit Farm and the Mega Maze. With quad bikes, diggers, trampolines and an adventure playground, the farm has a huge amount to keep children entertained. Adults too can enjoy browsing the farm shop, fruit picking and of course tackling the famous Mega Maze, made entirely of maize.
