With its jaw-dropping landscapes and state-of-the-art active facilities, Scotland can rightly lay claim to be the Adventure Capital of Europe. We've selected a few active events below to inspire you.

The following month you can join in with Skye's the Limit in September: challenge yourself on a gruelling duathlon through the Isle of Skye, part of which includes a 27 mile cycle. In fact, exploring by bike is a great way to discover Scotland as a whole so why not find out more about cycling in Scotland?
