By land and sea

By road

Stirling is reachable from Edinburgh and Glasgow in under an hour, while Loch Lomond is little more than 35 minutes from Glasgow. Falkirk is only 30 minutes both from Edinburgh Airport and from Glasgow via the M80/A80.

By bus

National coach services run to the city of Stirling, Falkirk and many of the other larger towns in the area, from which you can link to local services.

By rail

You can reach the area easily from Scotland’s major towns and cities and there are direct rail services from London that travel via Falkirk and Stirling. There are also frequent commuter services from Edinburgh and Glasgow to Falkirk, Stirling and Alloa.

By sea

You'll find the region is accessible by road and rail links from the ports of Newcastle and Hull on the east coast, or via the ferry ports at Cairnryan in Dumfries & Galloway, Troon in Ayrshire and Campbeltown and Dunoon in Argyll.

By air
