Facilities

Look out for facilities such as onsite restaurants, free WiFi, hearing loop, level access and accessible parking or drop off points to help plan an accessible holiday in Scotland.

Many establishments will be able to cater for those with a sensory impairment but please do check with the business before booking.

Transport & toilets

There are lots of services to help you when you’re out and about, including fully accessible public transport and other services. FInd more information about the accessibility and passenger assistance offered by transport providers across Scotland on the Accessible Travel Hub.

You can also search for over 3,000 support providers, services and organisations on the Disability Information Scotland website. It also has a guide to the Radar National Key Scheme which will give you independent access to locked public toilets.

A map of over 150 toilets recognised by the Changing Places scheme is also available. These are toilets which are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair, two adult carers and a suitably sized and adjustable changing bench.
