The Shetland Islands are the most northerly point of the British Isles. An the border between the North Sea and the Atlantic, battered by storms, and with some of the most spectacular wildlife in Scotland.
An Orkney tour is something that will stay with you for a lifetime. The rich history and unique culture of these islands has been recognised by UNESCO as globally important.
The easiest way to get there is by air. You can fly from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, or (new for 2023) direct from London. Once you're on the islands, the easiest way to get around is by car.
