Urquhart Castle on a Loch Ness Tour from Inverness

Urquhart Castle

Private Loch Ness Tours from Inverness

Private Loch Ness tours from Inverness with a local Highland driver-guide in a Mercedes vehicle. Full-day route via the A82 with flexible stops at Urquhart Castle, Fort Augustus, and selected Great Glen viewpoints.

Our Private Loch Ness Tours from Inverness are designed for guests who want a full day around Loch Ness without coach schedules or shared groups.

We depart Inverness and travel south on the A82 along the west side of Loch Ness. This is one of the main Highland touring roads and gives quick access to key lochside stops while keeping the day comfortable.

Typical route can include:

- Urquhart Castle

- Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness viewpoints

- Invermoriston

- Fort Augustus and the Caledonian Canal locks

- Great Glen scenic stops on the return including Dores beach

This is a private day tour, so timing is adjusted around your pace and interests. In peak months we plan the order of stops carefully, as car parks around Urquhart and Fort Augustus can become busy by late morning.

Your driver-guide is local to the Highlands and manages route planning, timings, and logistics throughout the day.

You travel in a private Mercedes vehicle with door-to-door pickup from Inverness hotels, accommodation, or station.

No sharing, no fixed coach timetable, no unnecessary stops.

From GBP 620.00 + VAT (GBP 744 inc VAT) per vehicle with private driver.
