This tour is perfect for first time arrivals in Edinburgh with a limited amount of time to sightsee. We combine the best of the Old Town with a guided walk around Edinburgh Castle, at the end of the tour.
On this tour take a walk through the historic Old Town before visiting Scotland’s most famous attraction, Edinburgh Castle. You'll be in the company of an expert local guide who knows Edinburgh and its history better than most. The Old Town has so many stories tucked away in its distinctive "closes" and wynds, as well as amazing views of impossibly beautiful streets and public buildings.
On the final part of the tour you will head into Edinburgh Castle itself where you will learn about it’s many historic roles as hill fort, medieval fortress, royal residence, prison and army garrison.
