A truly scrumptious chauffeur driven tour for 2 in The Love Bug D&G’s classic VW Campervan to the quaint town of Thornhill in the Nithsdale valley, home of The Moniaive Chocolatiers - creators of ‘The World’s First Tartan Chocolate’.

Calling all chocoholics!

In this most memorable tour for 2 you’ll be chauffeur driven in a classic VW to the elegant Chocolatiers’ premises situated in the quaint town of Thornhill in the Nithsdale valley. You’ll be served a chocolate shot prior to commencing a 2 hour workshop with Proprietor, Liz Cole - valedictorian of Ecole Chocolat, Vancouver. The creator of ‘The World’s First Tartan Chocolate’, Liz’s client list includes Vivienne Westwood, The Scottish Parliament, The Royal Yacht Britannia, The Duke of Buccleuch and Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos.

A la Juliette Binoche in the romcom drama ‘Chocolat’, you’ll be stirring, cooking, labelling and tasting as you go. Using Liz’s unique recipes you’ll make delicious fresh fillings - from Black Cherry and Kirsch to Lemon Meringue, and you’ll create the beautiful, hand painted tartan chocolate Liz is renowned for. A firm favourite worldwide for wedding favours, clan gatherings and corporate gifting. Create your own design or perhaps you have a family tartan to recreate? You’ll take your organic, fairly traded, handmade chocolates home in a gorgeous goody bag and you can brag about the art of chocolatiering for years to come.
