The Ben Cruachan Inn opened in April 2017 following a complete refurbishment. We occupy the historic building that was formerly the stables for the iconic Loch Awe Hotel.
Situated at the heart of Lochawe village, at the foot of Ben Cruachan and overlooking Loch Awe, our visitors love our location as we are in walking distance to Ben Cruachan and other mountains and have great attractions on our doorstep including St Conans Kirk, the hollow mountain experience and the famous Kilchurn Castle.
We are an ideal base for exploring tranquil Loch Awe from both its shores and by boat to the many interesting islands. We are also one of the most popular stopping points on the A85 route to Oban and gateway to the islands. Do read our reviews on TripAdvisor.
We have 5 high quality an suite letting bedrooms, with a further 5 studio apartments coming on line in 2018. We are fully accessible by wheelchair and are dog friendly. Our visitors love to sit on our beautiful deck and beer garden with views of Loch Awe when the weather allows, or cosy in by our log fire in the winter with a wee dram. You can even visit us by train as we are 2 minutes from Loch Awe Station on the main line from Glasgow to Oban.
