The Keep

Open Plan living on the upper floor takes full advantage of the spectacular views, framed through large windows and from the balcony that faces Ben Cruachan. Downstairs, there are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people, each has a patio door with direct access to the surrounding woodland garden. There are 2 bathrooms. Everything has been finished to an extremely high standard with a large wood burning stove, german designed kitchen, integrated sound system and large screen TV. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

There are lots of local walks in the area ranging from scaling nearby Munros to woodland and lochside trails. Fishing, and wildlife watching can be enjoyed from the waters of Lochawe, with local boat hire only 2 miles away. The iconic Kilchurn Castle, sitting majestically on the shores of Loch Awe is well worth a visit. Inveraray is only 10 miles away and the hustle and bustle of Oban with its distillary, shops and attractions is only a 30 minute drive. The Ben Cruachan Inn, in Lochawe village, serves great locally sourced food and has an excellent range of whisky.
