The Pavilion is a unique stone lodge set in 1900 acres of tranquil parkland on the historic Duns Castle estate. This unique, 2 storey stone built lodge sits at the base of the high stone archway over the drive, has a cosy interior with an open fire and semi-circular rooms and is close to the lake and just ½ mile from the town. Pavillion Lodge is a one-bedroomed property which sleeps two people comfortably.
Pavillion Lodge is a self-catering holiday cottage which is ideal for couples, families, walkers and fishermen who’d like to get away from a busy lifestyle to stay in a rustic and comfortably furnished cottage which is nestled in the countryside with plenty of fresh air and peace of quiet.
All cottages are just a 30 minute drive from sandy beaches and are perfectly positioned to make the most of a holiday in Scotland’s Border country. Providing comfortable accommodation, they each enjoy access to walks in the extensive grounds, which include deciduous woodland, hill vistas, a nature reserve and a splendid lake.
Make your stay in this historic Scottish castle estate complete with some outdoor activities including croquet, tennis, falconry, fishing, archery, clay pigeon shooting and off-road driving, which can all be arranged by request.
Property details: Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. First floor: Double bedroom.
Open fire in living room (initial fuel inc). Fridge freezer. Outside seating area with furniture and parking for one car. Natural water supply available from spring. Included in the hire of all properties is gas-fired central heating (controlled by owner), electricity and bed linen. Towel hire is available. All self-catering cottages feature Freeview television, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and a shared use of tennis court. All properties are non-smoking. Please note there is an unfenced lake in the castle grounds. Rental week runs Friday to Friday. Cots and highchairs are available on request. more information
