If you are looking for a cosy cottage, in a peaceful spot, surrounded by walks, wildlife and wonderful views...you might enjoy the big skies and panoramic views over The Tweed Valley to The Cheviot Hills in Northumberland from West Cottage.

Hendersyde is our family farm, which lies between the River Tweed and Eden Water 2.5 miles to the east of Kelso. You can walk into town, along the farm road to the Ednam Road beside Kelso Race Course and Golf Course.

Kelso has many delightful independent shops, places to eat, drink and places explore!

Four Star Quality - West Cottage is clean, comfy and cosy.

Well equipped, with central heating & a sitting room fire.
Sleeping up to 4 people, in a twin and double bed room.
There are discounts for couples, if only one of the bed rooms is used.
Linen, towels, electricity, fuel and Wi-Fi are all included in the price, which can be calculated for you on the availability calendars on our web site www.hendersyde.co.uk
Well behaved dogs are welcome - £20 per dog

Kelso - with it's cobbled market square - has to be one of the most attractive country towns in Scotland!

The town stands at the junction of The River Tweed & Teviot Water, a world famous salmon fishing pool.
You can enjoy river-side walks, stroll along to The Abbey and round the two bridges walk.
The Farmers Market is on the fourth Saturday of the month.
There's always a buzz about the town with lots of events at The Border Union Show Ground and Floors Castle.
National Hunt Racing and Kelso Golf Course - are at the end of the farm road,
Golf courses abound -The Roxburghe Championship Course is about four miles away.
The Hirsel Golf Course and Country Park are only 8 miles, at Coldstream

Whether you would like to walk, ride, fish, or explore this land of rivers and hills....

Stroll through gardens such as Dawyck or Kailzie by Peebles.
Pop over the border to visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens in Northumberland.
Discover the rich history of The Border Castles, Abbeys and great houses.
