Situated just off the square in Tomintoul, the Tomintoul Art Gallery celebrates the gateway to the Cairngorms National Park.
Jane’s batik art displays a wide range of images from Scottish and European landscapes, local scenes of Glenlivet and Upper Banffshire and figure and animal art. Works by other artists in watercolour, oils and ceramics are also displayed. There is also a display of Jane’s work on ceramics, which is kiln-fired in the gallery throughout the day.
Commissions are taken for batik and ceramic art and cover a wide range of subjects. Visitors may also book a place on courses and learn to produce their own Highland themes art.
Visitors can enjoy a personal welcome from the artist herself and plenty of time, guidance and fascinating facts as they explore the artwork.
