Situated on the shores of Loch Broom along the A835, it is located on the North Coast 500 Route and is the gateway to the North West Geopark and home to some of the oldest rocks in Europe. The village has a wonderful Thomas Telford designed social history museum, art and craft galleries and plays host to several annual festivals.
