Aberdeen City Centre Free Walking Tour
Learn about Aberdeen's history and colourful characters, from pirates to Lord Byron, in this free walking tour.
Our flagship history tour takes in the Castlegate, the harbour, Marischal College, Andy Scot's 'Poised' and St Nicholas Kirk. It focuses on the old (although now largely demolished) parts of Aberdeen, as well as some of the most scenic parts of the city centre. Come on this tour to hear about the city's colourful past and quirky characters.
Our city centre tours start from the Mercat Cross in the Castlegate. For times, please see our website. Walk-ups are welcome but to guarantee your place, reserve a space on our website. The tours are free. Donations are welcome.
Private tours are available on request. Just contact us at scotfreetoursaberdeen@gmail.com.
