Caledonian Canal 2-Night Getaway Cruise

Here’s something different for a quick getaway next summer. How about cruising the Caledonian canal from Fort William to Inverness on a quick 2-night adventure? See some of the best views of the Great Glen, Loch Lochy and Loch Ness go passing by.

Dates: 26th June to 28th June 2023

Guests join MV Hjalmar Bjørge at around 1500 in Corpach near Fort William. We will enter the 60 mile long Caledonian Canal at Corpach where soon after we will enter the famous Neptune’s Staircase series of locks, travelling along the canal and into the picturesque Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and on via Fort Augustus into Loch Ness and past the famous Castle Urquhart before arriving in Inverness at the end of the canal. Our minibus we will on hand to whisk you back to Fort William at the end of your journey unless of course you decide to stay a few days in town and make your own way back later.

Highlights:

Join your fellow guests on deck as you watch some of Scotland’s most magnificent and famous Highland scenery and locations go by. You will still get the same excellent meals and customer service as with all our cruises, but in the more sheltered waters of one of Britain’s most well-known canal and loch systems. A perfect Scottish mini-cruise and very affordable to!
