Edinburgh & the Borders: three-day private tour

Spend three days exploring one of the most inspiring European cities and the Scottish Borders, where romantic history, song and legend meet. Visit royal castles, walk along lochs, follow in the footsteps of great poets - an adventure you cannot miss!

Itinerary:

Day 1:

We begin with a full-day Edinburgh city tour with its most iconic places including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and Greyfriars Kirkyard. But there’s much more to see than popular spots – depending on what interests you, we’ll do everything to show you unknown attractions around the capital.

Day 2:

Our first stop outside the city is the unique Rosslyn Chapel, which starred in the Da Vinci Code movie. We then set south to visit the first of the famous Borders abbeys in Melrose. The second one awaits in Kelso, where we also take time to explore magnificent Floors Castle and Gardens.

Day 3:

To start the day we tour the town of Jedburgh, known for its abbey and links with Mary, Queen of Scots. We then head to Hawick and further west to the natural beauty of St Mary’s Loch, where we enjoy a pleasant walk. We finally arrive at the amazing Traquair House – Scotland’s oldest inhabited house, with its own brewery and picturesque gardens.

Let us know if you have any specific interests and needs – we will adapt the tour for you!
