Glenfinnan and Great Glen Full Day Private Tour

Visit the Glenfinnan Viaduct, the famous bridge crossed by the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter movies. Take in beautiful views of Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the UK and see the stunning Lochaber region in the West Highlands of Scotland.

On this tour we will travel down the Great Glen passing Loch Ness, Loch Lochy and Loch Oich before arriving to see the Jacobite Steam Train crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The Glenfinnan Viaduct, of course, doubles as the “Bridge to Hogwarts” in the Harry Potter movies. We will also see the Glenfinnan Monument in this truly breath-taking place, where Bonnie Prince Charlie unfurled his banner and see the statue of the lone highlander at the top of the tower.

For lunch, wander around the town of Fort William, where there is a great selection of cafes and shops, in the shadow of the UK’s highest mountain peak, Ben Nevis.

On the way back to Inverness we will visit the Commando Memorial unveiled in 1952, in remembrance of those who have served in the British Commandos regiment before moving onwards to Fort Augustus and Invermoriston.

You will be travelling in comfort in our luxury 8-seater minibus or executive Land Rover with your own friendly, local, experienced, kilted tour guide/driver.
