Highlights - Glasgow to Isle of Islay - Day 1
Day 1 begins in the largest city in Scotland, Glasgow, and departs heading north through Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. Enjoy the stunning changing landscape from the Lowlands to the Highlands of Scotland. Visiting Inveraray Castle along the way, learn about the Highland Clan Chief that still owns the castle today, as we head out west towards the seaside town of Tarbert. Catch the ferry across the sea the Isle of Islay, and get ready for the delicious Scotch Whisky to begin pouring.
Highlights - Isle of Islay - Day 2
Day 2 is when to Scotch Whisky is in full flow. Travel around the island to taste some of the best whisky Islay has to offer. Some of the distilleries you'll be visiting include Bowmore, Lagavulin and Laphroaig. Travelling around the island, don't forget to enjoy the stunning coastal views surrounding this incredible island.
Highlights - Isle of Islay to Glasgow - Day 3
Day 3 is when we sadly depart the Isle of Islay, but we travel north on the Mainland towards a place full of Ancient History, Kilmartin Glen. Learn about the Ancient Kingdom that once controlled the West Coast of Scotland, a travel in the footsteps of Kings exploring Dunnadd Fort. Continuing north, visit Oban Whisky Distillery and travel to ruin of Kilchurn Castle before we start heading south through Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park to Glasgow.
