Loch Ness

Isle of Skye

We provide tour options to visit the stunning Isle of Skye.

Departing Inverness and heading along Loch Ness to the West of Scotland and over the sea to Skye, heading to the mid North of the island to the iconic Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls. From here, you have the option for a pit stop in Portree for lunch before we go over the Quirrang to Uig and back to Portree; passing Eilean Donan Castle, with the option to spend time visiting the castle or simply a quick photo stop, before returning to Inverness via the Skye Bridge.

An alternative itinerary, for a slightly shorter tour, you can explore the South of the island. Including the beautiful Sleat Peninsula with the Ord and Tarskivaig Loop to enjoy the dramatic views over the Cuillen Hills and a visit to the Clan Donald Centre. As with the Northern route, the return journey is made via Eilean Donan Castle, with option to visit or simply take photos, before following the road North via Achnasheen and Garve to Inverness.

If you would like to combine both options, we recommend booking an overnight stay on Skye and splitting the tour over two days to make the most of your visit. As with all of our tours, these are our recommended itineraries, however, if you have a particular place you’d like to visit, we can include it in the tour.
