Old Man of Storr - Isle of Skye

Isle of Skye & Highlands Photo Tour

Join us on this amazing 8-day photo tour capturing some of the most stunning landscapes that Scotland has to offer! The inspiring visuals have to be experienced first-hand to be fully appreciated. The tour includes a professional photo guide.

Scotland has always inspired the spirit of adventure and its rugged, untamed landscapes await! From Skye’s awe-inspiring geographical formations of Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr, to the sublime beauty of Glencoe, we’ll visit both the iconic and the hidden gems in this magnificent area of the Scottish Highlands on this photography tour

From our starting point in Inverness, over eight full days we’ll visit the romantic and stunning Eileen Donan Castle en route to the Isle of Skye, also called the “Magical Isle”. Impressive geological formations await us, allowing a glimpse into a forgotten time. Volcanic crags sculptured over millennia into unique shapes abound in Skye, creating many memorable photo opportunities such as the dazzling turquoise waters of the elegant Fairy Pools, and the fossil-strewn shale beach of Elgol with the dramatic Cullin mountain range looming in the background.

Following the captivating Isle of Skye, on our 5th day of the tour, we'll move on to the picturesque setting of Glencoe, with its imposing mountains and flowing rivers within the valley, and impressive castles within a short drive. Our highlights will include visiting the Glenfinnan Viaduct, as the Jacobite steam train passes over (famously the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter films), numerous lochs and lochans on the valley, traveling down Glen Etive (featured in Skyfall), and Kilchurn Castle and Castle Stalker (featured in Monty Python and the Holy Grail).

We currently run two group tours during October (max 5 photographers on each tour).

Dates:

1) Sat 5th – Sat 12th October, 2024

2) Mon 14th – Mon 21st October, 2024
