Moray Golf & Whisky Experience
Discover the perfect blend of championship golf and Speyside whisky culture on this guided five-day experience.
Discover the perfect blend of championship golf and Speyside whisky culture on this guided five-day experience. Each day combines play on one of Moray’s most scenic courses with a visit to a local distillery or attraction, all accompanied by local on course insight, professional photography, and comfortable transport throughout your trip.
Day 1 – Cullen Links & Glenglassaugh Distillery
Start your journey on one of Scotland’s most distinctive courses, Cullen Links, designed by Old Tom Morris and set dramatically between the red sandstone cliffs of the Moray Coast. Enjoy a relaxed round with on-course photography capturing your opening day. In the afternoon, visit Glenglassaugh Distillery, perched above Sandend Bay, for a coastal whisky tasting and introduction to Moray’s maritime spirit.
Day 2 – Spey Bay & Caledonian Cooper Experience
Experience classic seaside golf at Spey Bay, a natural links layout where the River Spey meets the sea. Expect firm fairways, ever-changing winds, and uninterrupted views across the Moray Firth. Later, head inland to Keith for a rare chance to see and learn from a professional cooper. Try traditional cask-building techniques essential to the whisky industry.
Day 3 – Elgin Golf Club & Benriach Distillery
Play Elgin Golf Club, a beautifully presented inland course that rewards strategy and precision, with views stretching across Moray’s rolling countryside. Following your round, enjoy a tasting at Benriach Distillery, known for its creative approach to whisky-making and expressive single malts that showcase the diversity of Speyside flavour.
Day 4 – Moray Golf Club (Old Course) & Glen Moray
Tee off on the iconic Moray Old Course, a championship links designed by Old Tom Morris in 1889. With its classic out-and-back layout and firm, fast fairways, this is a true highlight of Moray’s golf scene — all captured through professional photography during your round. In the afternoon, tour Glen Moray Distillery, learn about their long tradition of cask finishing and sample a selection of Speyside favourites.
Day 5 – Forres Golf Club & Benromach Distillery
Conclude your tour at Forres Golf Club, a scenic parkland course offering a peaceful contrast to the coast, surrounded by woodland and wildlife.
In the afternoon, visit the family owned distillery where everything is made slowly and deliberately “as it used to be.” Expect a rich, smoky Speyside dram with classic character.
