Papa Stour Day Sail

A day's sail to Papa Stour: famous for its sea stacks, spectacular cliffs, tranquil bays and extraordinary sea caves (the longest in Britain). Trip date - Saturday 18th May.

Join the Swan at the pier at 10.00am in Aith on the west side of Shetland and, after your safety briefing, sail direct to Papa Stour for a bit of exploring ashore or a circumnavigation of the island.

View the fantastic rock formations all around the island from the comfort of the Swan. Please note: We will not have time to both visit the island and sail around it. The chosen activity on the day will be decided by the skipper, to take best advantage of the conditions.

Later in the day you will make your way back along the coast to Aith to disembark at 6.00pm. Lunch will be served during your day, and there will always be a cuppa not too far away.

You will take an active part in sailing the Swan, including hauling on ropes, taking a turn on the helm, and keeping a lookout.

Trip date - Saturday 18th May.
