Red deer rut safari

Join wild West to see Scotland's greatest Wildlife spectacle, the red deer rut

From late September until the end of October one of the highlights of the wildlife calendar, the red deer rut takes place. During this period the stags compete to mate with groups of hinds in a testosterone charged spectacle. The sound of roaring stags fills the glen and you may be lucky enough to see a pair of stags lock antlers in a duel.

Trips normally leave from Banavie locks car park Fort William at 07.30 but other meeting points can be arranged to suit.

To protect both clients and myself in the current circumstances, all Wild West trips are offered on a private basis to parties of up to six people travelling together. For more information on how Wild West are looking after clients please go to my about page

Cost: £275.00 for up to eight people in a private party
