St Andrews Cathedral

St Andrews Golf Oriented History Tours

St Andrews golf-oriented history tours are walking tours exploring both the town and the Old Course. See the Cathedral with 124 noted golfers, including the iconic graves of the Tom Morris family, the University, Bishop's Palace and the Old Course.

Set amid the backdrop of historic St Andrews on these walking tours with Richard Falconer - an early 80s pro-A1 Old Course caddie, you will visit sites frequented by golfing legends, Kings, Queens and Nobles.

Tours include historic quirks, anecdotes and easily missed sites of golfing interest and historical importance along the way.

As an ideal showcase of St Andrews, the tours take in the major historic quarters including the home and birthplace of Tom Morris, the first University in Scotland where many top golfers have been conferred honorary degrees, the Cathedral (burial place of 124 golfers!), the Bishop's Palace and the famed Old Course.

Not everyone in your group may be a golfing enthusiast, so these tours are suitable for any looking to explore and find out more about this unique part of the world.
