Thurso to Tongue
The road from Thurso to Tongue is 49 miles. You can travel by train from Inverness, and then walk to Tongue. You do not have to walk on the road, you can use our management tool.
The road from Thurso to Tongue can be very busy, but you can alight from the train and walk to Scrabster harbour and get the coastal route from there. Then follow our management tool and you will be sure you are on the right track.
The wildlife is stunning, and there is a nice little cafe in the harbour. En route to Scrabster harbour, there is a shop where you can pick up provisions.
