For a fun and flavorful exploration of Ullapool's best local food and drink in an authentic setting, choose our private Food Tours. Expertly curated, these tours combine delicious dishes and drinks from welcoming local venues with an engaging itinerary and knowledgeable guidance. As you stroll through the village, your guide will highlight Scottish producers and the connections between Ullapool, the Highlands, and the food and drink we savour. Beyond the culinary delights, our tours also showcase Ullapool's outstanding scenery, history, and stories. Come hungry as you will get to enjoy generous portions of food on our tours!

FLAVOURS OF ULLAPOOL (3 h 45 min, min. 4 people)

Treat yourself to this scrumptious food tour and savour tasty food in great variety and a delicious gin cocktail made with artisan local gin (mocktail available as well or other alcoholic drink). It does not get any more local than that. 2 sit-ins and 2 picnic-style stops will make for a great time! Try a Scottish (savoury) pie - go for a traditional one or choose a more unusual but equally mouth-watering flavour. Take in the breath-taking scenery and pause to immerse yourself in the moment. Have a brew of quality coffee or tea with homebaked scones or cake. Delight in Highland charcuterie and Highland cheeses, made by dedicated small businesses. Satisfy your sweet tooth and indulge in Highland fudge. Make the most of being right at the waterfront and enjoy a taste of the sea with freshly caught local seafood, a true treat.

The tour price depends on your group size and starts from £115 per person.

A TASTE OF ULLAPOOL (2 h, min. 2 people)

On this shorter food tour we will visit 3 local venues: one is a sit-in, the other 2 picnic-style al-fresco eating at scenic spots. Indulge in island 3-meat salami and island cheese with Scottish oatcakes, made by sustainable small enterprises. Savour authentic Highland fudge and enjoy a refreshing cuppa of freshly brewed coffee or tea. Treat yourself to a local seafood dish, a true taste of Ullapool, and toast with a dram of Highland whisky.  

The tour price depends on your group size and starts from £80 per person.


For both tours, the maximum size of your group is usually 12 people. For larger groups, we are happy to make special arrangements as well, just contact us.
