This town is a former hub of shipbuilding, is found where the Firth of Forth turns north and narrows, and is crossed by the mighty Kincardine Bridge.
Kincardine is also known as being the birthplace of Sir James Dewar (1842 - 1923), inventor of the vacuum flask.
From Kincardine you can take the Fife Coastal Route, an 85 mile drive through charming towns, pretty fishing villages, sandy beaches and fun attractions.
